Recharter Incentive CSP PDF  | Print |  E-mail
Are you a Unit Commissioner or the person responsible for Unit Recharter?
If so pay close attention.
We have a Council Shoulder Patch for the Commissioner and Unit Leader responsible for Unit On-Time Recharter. This is a custom designed and a one time offer. This is only valid for units and commissioners that insure the unit is rechartered ONTIME (February Roundtable) and complete. This includes ALL applications, signatures and money in hand by February Roundtable.

Commissioners this is only valid if all units you are assigned to recharter ONTIME. One patch per commissioner.

Units there is one patch per unit. It will be given to the unit and it is up to you, to present this to your recharter person. Remember if your unit is not rechartered on-time then your charter may lapse. Without that then your insurance through BSA maybe in question until all of your paperwork is processed and turned in. Please make sure that you have this task performed and completed by the February Roundtable. For questions please contact your unit commissioner. If you do not know who that is contact your District Executive, get the questions answered and also find out who your assigned commissioner is.

Your unit commissioner is tasked with insuring that we can offer you all of the resources that the council has to offer. We are a lifeline to each unit and we are here to help.

Sincerely,
Dick Northrup

Spring Sale 2010 PDF  | Print |  E-mail

Does your unit need quick cash?

Do you have Scouts that need money for summer activities?  Our Spring Sale is designed just for you.  It begins February 1st and ends March 20th, with the product coming April 15th.  What are we selling?  We are bringing the Outing to Scouting and selling trees.  For every tree sold a tree will be planted at one of our 3 camps to help ensure that Scouts for the next 100 years can take place outdoors.  We will be having an information meeting on Sunday, January 24th at 3:00pm at Camp Teetonkah.  The real excitement is that you will earn 50% Commission after we deduct the costs of the trees. If you just can’t wait and want to know more please contact Val Herr at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .

Family Friends of Scouting 2010 PDF  | Print |  E-mail

Dear Friends and Families of the Scouting Program, We would like to thank you for your support of the 2009 campaign. Tough economic times have not gone away and neither has the need for your support.

Our 2010 Campaign will kick off in January and we are currently asking each Cub Scout Pack, Boy Scout Troop, and Venture Crew to set a date in January, February, or March 2010 for a short presentation telling the quick story of why the Friends of Scouting program is so important and needed. There are multiple ways to sign up for a presentation. Contact your District Executive at Roundtable and sign up or contact your District Executive via phone or e-mail and let them know the date. You can share your presentation date with your Commissioner and they will be happy to bring the information back to the District Committee.

As the challenges of our economy increase, so does the need for your support. Please consider a family presentation in 2010.
