the reins of your future in
the Scouting Program by
getting Wood Badge trained. The
Wood Badge Course is the highest level of adult
leader training in Scouting. It
continues the tradition of adult training initially
developed by Baden Powell himself and
first offered in England in 1919. This
course is a must for those interested in preserving and
strengthening the leadership of the Scouting Program. It
will teach you the leadership techniques for
relating to boys as an effective adult leader. This
year’s course will be conducted at Camp Munhacke in western Washtenaw
County as a joint venture of the Great Sauk Trail Council and
Chief Okemos Council. Session
1, August 26-28 (Fri. thru Sun.) Session
2, September 10-12 (Sat. thru Mon.) Cost
is $225 and includes all meals, course materials, T-shirt, hat, and photos For
