WOOD BADGE 2005

Calling all registered adults in Scout Troops,

Cub Packs, and Venture Crews.

Grab the reins of your future

in the Scouting Program

by getting Wood Badge trained.

The Wood Badge Course is the highest level of

adult leader training in Scouting.

It continues the tradition of adult training

initially developed by Baden Powell himself

and first offered in England in 1919.

This course is a must for those interested in preserving

and strengthening the leadership of the Scouting Program.

It will teach you the leadership techniques

for relating to boys as an effective adult leader.

This year’s course will be conducted at Camp Munhacke in western

Washtenaw County as a joint venture of the Great Sauk Trail Council

and Chief Okemos Council.

Course sessions include:  Pre-Course Meeting, July 16

Session 1, August 26-28 (Fri. thru Sun.)

Session 2, September 10-12 (Sat. thru Mon.)
