The 2010 National Scout Jamboree was an amazing experience. I wished it could have gone on longer.
Nearly 50,000 Scouts and visitors attended the Jamboree's closing ceremony. The show was breathtaking. Because I was a hometown news reporter, I got a front-row seat to the show. To see a video, visit www.ustream.tv/shininglight.

Fall recruitment is here, what do I need? Who can help? The answer is our district membership team and our professionals. Feel free to contact us at any time. The best way to improve your pack is by recruiting new Scouts and their families. Boy Scouts of America turned 100 years old this year, if we want to ensure Scouting turns 200 years old then we need to keep inviting more families to our program.
